World Book Night at The Hive

The Hive has teamed up with Writing West Midlands to celebrate World Book Night on Tuesday 23 April from 7-9pm.

As thousands of books are given away across the UK, Worcestershire residents are invited to join us to pit their knowledge in our World Book Night Quiz against other discerning readers in the county at The Hive, a partnership between Worcestershire County Council and the University of Worcester.

Test your knowledge with 8 rounds of tough questions ranging from the ridiculous to the pedantic. This fun night out is suitable for anyone who knows their way around their local library and has a competitive team spirit!

There will also be a speed book dating round so you can share your love for literature.

Bring a team (maximum 6 people) or join one on the night to compete for fabulous prizes for the winning team including a Spa Day at Crave, Birmingham.

There is a nominal charge of £3 per person, payable on the night in cash but please book your space in advance by e-mailing sian@writingwestmidlands.org.

Janine Downes, Library Manager at The Hive said: "World Book Night is a fantastic opportunity for people to celebrate their love for books and reading here at The Hive. World Book Day was a great success working with Writing West Midlands, we are pleased they are back to join us for World Book Night. This will be a great evening for adults so please book your space early."

This event will take place on Tuesday 23 April from 7-9pm on level 0 at The Hive.

Please note this is a bookable event and level 0 will only be open to participants at this time.
