New learning opportunities at The Hive

Worcestershire residents interested in learning new skills for fun, or seeking ways to help widen their employment opportunities, are being urged to check out the range of adult learning courses on offer at The Hive.

Brought to you by Worcestershire County Council's Libraries and Learning Service the courses will all be run by business professionals. The tutors, who are specialists in their industry, have designed courses to help you improve skills and employment opportunities or to learn a new skills to enjoy during your leisure time.  

A variety of brand new courses will be available from mid April. Improve communication with our introduction to British Sign Language, Computing for Beginners and English for speakers of other languages course. Get creative with our floristry, cake decorating and craft business courses or delve into the past with our Archive and Archaeology teams with family history and ancestry courses.  

Further course information, including the latest prospectus, is available to view and download online at, and is also available in The Hive, a partnership between Worcestershire County Council and the University of Worcester. Courses may start as early as mid-April, so interested residents are urged to enrol as soon as possible.
