The Hive to Sparkle in Christmas Light Parade

The Hive is buzzing with festive fun as it prepares for a weekend of Christmas celebrations, starting with a magical Christmas Lantern Parade on Friday 6 December at 6pm.

A Christmas pantomime and live Christmas carols are also part of the festivities happening at The Hive.

On Saturday 7 December The Hive will be hosting a production of ‘Beauty and The Beast’ including some additional enchanting characters. Performances for this fun family event will run at 1.30pm and 4pm.

On Sunday 8 December, the celebrations end with live performances of Christmas carols with a modern twist by Clik Clik Collective at 1.30pm and 3pm.

Laura Worsfold, Business Development Manager at The Hive, said: “We hope people will find something a bit different for families and children to enjoy at The Hive this Christmas.

“The Lantern Parade is a new event for The Hive to mark the beginning of the Christmas period. We are running workshops at weekends for families to attend and we expect to welcome as many as 150 children with their families to join in on the night. It will be a magical sight as the children parade outside The Hive and we hope people will come down and watch as well as take part. Our aim is to build on this each year to make it an annual landmark event for Worcester."

Tickets for ‘Beauty and The Beast’ are £5 and can be purchased from Level 1 Information Pod at The Hive or Level 2 Explore the Past desk. For more information visit www.thehiveworcester.org.
