New season of events at The Hive

The Hive has launched its new season of events with plenty of activities to entertain children, families and adults this autumn.

The Worcester Sixth Form College Student Show is currently exhibiting fine art, graphics, photography and textiles in the atrium of The Hive from now until 4 October. For families and those interested in the cosmos, the hugely popular Space Day is set to return on Saturday 6 October from 11am to 4pm.

A vast calendar of exhibitions, business events for networking opportunities in Worcester and remembrance activities to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War are listed in the latest guide, available to download online or pick up from The Hive and venues across Worcestershire.

The guide also includes adult learning courses, archive and archaeology workshops and family events from September up until Christmas.

As well as the annual Beeline University of Worcester Storytelling Festival on the last weekend of October, there are extra children events over half term to keep youngsters entertained, with fun poetry performances, interactive shows, mini workshops and children’s theatre.

The Hive ends the year with a finale of Christmas workshops, storytelling, a Christmas Show and the annual lantern parade, which is taking place on Thursday 6 December at 6pm from Cathedral Square.
