Easter Activities at The Hive

A mammoth selection of events and activities for children will be hosted at The Hive this Easter.

Every day from April 3rd to 15th children can crack clues to find the mammoth and her prehistoric friends with chocolate prizes dished out to the successful hunters. Ice age themed tales will be read each day at 11am and 2:45pm.

The Big Dreamers Festival taking place across the City during Easter will be bringing some of the UK’s best children’s theatre companies to Worcester. Families can enjoy interactive performances at The Hive on Friday, April 6 and Saturday April 7 at 2.30pm with the productions of Jack and the Beans Talk and Tilda’s Magic Tree.

From Tuesday, April 10 a number of free family events take place. These events include an arts workshop on Tuesday, April 10, mammoth games and crafts on Thursday, April 12 from 10am to 4pm, at the showing of Dreamworks animated movie ‘Ice Age’ at 3pm, and on Friday, April 13 to Saturday, April 14 there will be dance workshops, animation workshops and storytelling sessions.

Regular children’s activities that take place at The Hive will continue to run over the holidays, including our interactive parent and child sessions such as ‘Wacky Wednesdays’, Bounce and Rhyme on Tuesdays and Baby Bounce and Rhyme on Fridays, except Good Friday.

The Hive will be closed on Good Friday, March 30, reopen on Saturday, March 31 and closed again for Easter Sunday, April 1 and Easter Monday, April 2.
