  • Hive at Five Exhibition - Mon, 03 July Mon, 10 July 2017

In celebration of The Hive’s 5th anniversary we have looked back over the last five years at our achievements. The exhibition shows just some of the highlights and achievements we would like to share with you.

We are now planning and shaping the next five years of The Hive and we want to know what you think. At the exhibition, please take the time to write on our comments wall or contact us via social media, email or just tell a member of staff what you would like to see in the next five years.

  • Behind the Scenes Tour - Archive and Archaeology - Sat, 08 July

On The Hive's 5th Birthday celebrations come with us behind the scenes to see the areas of Worcs Archive & Archaeology Service you don't usually see. We'll take you into the archive strongrooms, where some the 12 miles of archives are stored, showing you some of the stand out examples; we'll go into the conservation studios to find out how precious books and documents are cared for; and we'll get out some archaeological finds for you to handle from the stores. The tour will involve moving around the building, although there are lifts to go between floors and some chairs in rooms.

Tickets for this tour are £6. Book your place.

The tour is 1 hour 30 minutes and will begin at 2pm.

  • The Hive Landscape Tour - Sat, 08 July

Come with us for a tour outside The Hive, looking at the historical and archaeological clues in the landscape. The past history of the site has been incorporated into many aspects of the site design, some of which you may have walked past many times without realising. Led by Worcestershire Archive & Archaeology Service.

    Book your place.

Time slots are 11am and 12pm.

  • Watch Out Worcester Dancefest - The Bodyguards - Sat, 22 July

Watch Out Worcester (WoW) Dancefest is coming to The Hive.

Meet InfuseDANCE’s The Bodyguards. Protect and Serve, the highly trained dancing bodyguards, will perform their cool and original choreography in a fun filled interactive performance outside of The Hive's main entrance from 12pm.
