The Hive showcases classic and contemporary Worcestershire

The Hive proved an unusual venue for a photo shoot of a new Morgan Aero Coupe to showcase classic and contemporary Worcestershire for MOG magazine’s calendar for 2013.

MOG magazine is a new magazine aimed at Morgan owners and enthusiasts throughout the world and is published by local publishers Project VIVA, based in the city centre.

The backdrop was unlike any other with its modern, eye-catching exterior, a delightful contrast to the classic design of the Morgan car. Founded over one hundred years ago, Morgan Motor Company, based in Malvern, is famous across the world for their unique blend of charisma, quality materials, craftsmanship and performance.

The Hive, recently opened by the Queen, is a partnership between Worcestershire County Council and the University of Worcester. The Hive is becoming globally recognised and has recently been shortlisted in the World Architectural Festival 2012.

Peter Parkes, Head of Property Services at Worcestershire County Council, said: "We are very proud that The Hive is being recognised internationally for its design and construction. It is exciting to see The Hive being used as a stage because of its unique, one of a kind appearance, in this case bringing together two iconic symbols of Worcestershire at its best."

Both designed to standout from the crowd with their exceptional design, The Hive and Morgan car together created an exquisite selection of photos which symbolises iconic Worcestershire.

The photographs will be used in a variety of motor magazines and publications after the calendar has been released later this year, and are available now to view online - please visit www.thehiveworcester.org
