Are you a budding poet aged 11-18? Are you thinking of submitting an entry to Worcestershire's Young Poet Laureate 2024 competition? Or maybe you've always wanted to write poetry but have no idea where to start?
Join poet Jenny Hope for a morning workshop of engaging tips and tricks to get you writing, all on the theme of 'Change' to help inspire your submissions to the Young Poet Laureate competition!
The workshop is free, but booking in advance is essential.
Jenny Hope is a poet, writer and presenter. Her poetry explores the themes of change alongside elements of the natural world, environmental issues and storytelling. She has been published widely, read at local spoken word events and Ledbury Poetry Festival, and runs workshops in the community.
